Hello mommas! I currently have two boys (18 months and 6 months)- healthy, beautiful and growing! Oh- adorable to boot! And I recently found out that I am due with my third in march of 2015. My husband and I were initially shocked because not only was I scheduled to get the iud the week I found out, I also had a huge cervical polyp and having had two previously I know it's hard to get pregnant with polyps (hard but not impossible!)...I am also still breast feeding and my periods haven't been regular. Anyway I suppose all that info is just blabber! We are pregnant again and although we have become excited (after the initial shock), I very much doubt my family will react positively.
Does anyone have any recommendations on how to explain that we feel blessed to have such good fertility and are financially fine to raise three little ones- and also how to gracefully tolerate the snide comments that will come my way?
I had gest diabetes with my last pregnancy and when my son was born my mom (who is an RN) said "don't u think DH should get snipped? Haven't u had enough?" When I told her we have always wanted three- she looked at me like I had lost my mind.
I'm feeling very apprehensive about announcing this and would love your feedback!
