hi my son is 32 months old.He is so head strong ;i have tired everything to encourage him to talk,he,ll babble away some days then go quiet some days to,He has a few words like mammy,Amy his sis,tractor, banana etc.I am very worried that he may never learn to communicate with me and others.He also has an awful temper when not getting his own way,anyboby have this happen

After 3, he started therapy at 22 months and it stopped at 3 due to age cut off. The therapist felt the gap had closed enough for him to stop therapy. At 3 he could use two and three word phrases, but by 4 he was completely caught up.

For sure, you can get a referral from your doctor. You can try teaching him some sign language. We used, stop, share, more, hungry, thirsty, bedtime, please, thank you, sorry and all done. You be amazed how it can decrease frustration. I had one son with a significant speech delay and it helped so much when he could show us what he needed without screaming and pointing and whining.

Have his hearing tested and request an evaluation. In the US this is handled by Easter Seals or similar. He'd likely qualify for at least speech services.
