You will know when your waters break you will leak a clear fluid! But like said before this doesn't always have to happen my waters broke naturally and I still had to be induced as I had no contractions or signs of my baby girl wanting to come

Chill girl! Your baby will come when it's ready!

There is nothing you can do (even sex, that is an old wives tale, it isn't scientifically proven) to hurry it along. Your water will probably not break before you go into labor. My water didn't break until like 10 hours into my labor and I was almost fully dilated! If your water breaks you will KNOW because you will have WATER running down your legs! ;p

Pain in your "private area" is from your hips spreading to prepare for birth. Totally normal. You are in the last week (hopefully), so just relax, sit however is comfortable for you, and take it easy.

Get off the notion that your water will break first. I was in labor for hours with all of mine and had to have them broken.
It's not like in the movies where the waters break and then you go into labor.

You may want to actually read what people write so we don't have to keep going in round abouts saying the same thing over and over.

Why are you intent on breaking your waters?
Labor can start without your waters breaking and in the majority of cases it does.

ETA: If your waters break and you don't go into labor it can cause an infection and be dangerous for the baby. Keep your little one protected for as long as possible!

Sex probably won't break your water but semen can ripen your cervix and send you into labor. You can start labor without your waters breaking as well. With all 3 of mine my waters were broken at the hospital, they have never broken naturally.
