I have an 8yr old boy who is FULL of frustration. I get a note sent home just about everyday telling me that he is talking, fighting, and not following directions. When I ask him why, his response is either, "I don't know," or "My classmates frustrate me." He is not the typical 8yr old; he is pretty mature for his age. Often I wonder if that could have anything to do with it. My concern and frustration is not knowing where all his frustration is coming from. He lives at home with myself and my 4yr old. He sees his dad on regular basis and they have a healthy relationship. He bullies my 4yr old and teases him A LOT! However, there are times when he is the sweetest and most helpful big brother. I am so confused, concerned and stressed. I hate seeing that my 8yr old is starting to be considered a bully at school. HELP! What should I do??

Time to schedule a school conference, to address the situation. You can get teacher's side of the story, and you can bring your son so that he can give his side. Between the two of you (you and teacher) you should be able to work out a solution.
