I'm carrying my third boy and had more and more nausea with each one. All the wives tales and the chinese calender pointed to girl but it's a boy. So every child is different.

All pregnancies differ from one to the next. It might end after 12 weeks, it might not. When I was pregnant with my son, I had morning(and afternoon, and evening and night) sickness for 7 1/2 months, about 30-40 times per day. The medical term is hyperemesis. If the sickness is in danger of seriously interrupting your life or health (and consequently the baby's), you should ask your doctor for anti-nausea medicine. Promethazine worked wonders for me, even with extreme morning sickness.

You can cope with morning sickness through a natural remedy. I was having horrible time with my first pregnancy, but once started "no to morning sickness tea", I was feeling much better. During my second baby, I used the same tea and got no morning sickness.

Morning I am now at 8wks with my third child. I have 2 girls almost 4 & 5. Never got sick with them. Since then ive remarried, so new father, thats tje only difference so far. I had to go to the ER, I cant even hold down water for days. Its my hubbys turn for twins so I have no clue why this pregnancy has to blow the other 2 outta the water.

Every pregnancy is different .. I had all day sickness with both my boys for over 6 months. I took dyclectin from my dr. it makes you very tired but it helps. I also got accupunture for it as I had a bad case of it that helped me as well. Other than that like most you just have to ride it out and learn what foods you can and can't keep down. Good luck hopefully you will only have this for your first 3 months.

Every pregnancy is different--my 3rd was my most nauseous, though I never actually vomited. Just go with the flow and drink ginger ale! Maybe you're having a girl. :)

Each pregnancy is different. I have 4 kids each one was different. Some no morning sickness, some a day or 2 of sickness some even was 9 months of throwing up. Each baby is different..

This happened to me as well, and the surprise wasn't very fun. I think it may have been worse, just because I was running around after my first two and not taking the time to rest. Good luck with your baby, and remember to get as much rest as you can!

I had very little problem with sickness for my 1st 3, a boy and 2 girls, but with #4, another girl, I was sick for 3 months solid. ended up in the hospital dehydrated and I could eat nothing but hard boiled eggs for 3 months. The only difference I see in my youngest now that they are all grown is that my youngest who made me sooooo sick is that she is probably the most like me and is very strong willed. (Nice way of saying she is very very stubborn!) :))

You might be having a girl. Sometime due to all estrogen in your body it tends to make morning sickness more likely when you are carrying a girl. Now it can sometimes be that your chemicals are different and the result morning sickness. I had morning sickness with 3 of my four girls and none with either of my boys. I experienced headaches with them.

I have had extreme morning sickness with both my pregnancys and the only thing that has given me lasing relief is acupuncture. I highly recommend you try it and it is not invasive. Good luck.

I was soooo sick with both of my children...My doctor prescribed some meds with my first child and with my 2nd I was a little stubborn and didnt take anything cuz the meds they gave made me tired and drowsy...Up tp 85% of pregnant women suffer from morning sickness. Sucking on a sweetly sour candy can help...They have something called Preggie Pop Drops $5 for 21 of them....you can find em on destinationmaternity.com Hope they help...Good luck!!!

You are older and probably reacting to the hormone changes more. I felt really sick with my daughter but with my son I only felt sick once. Eat small meals and avoid heavy meals. Eat dry foods when you are feeling sick such as crackers, toast, even potato chips if it settles your stomach. Avoid liquids with the dry foods. If you are really suffering your doctor might prescribe something to help.

I had severe morning sickness until about 26 weeks. And its putting me off having another! You can tablets from your doctor. I also found blackmores morning sickness tablets fantastic. Not sure what they are called where you live but they are just ginger and vitamin b12. You have to take them regularly though, not just when you feel sick. Also make sure you eat frequently, even if you arent hungry, have a small healthy snack. As soon as I got hungry I would be vomiting. All the best, I hope it soon passes. I imagine its very hard looking after two boys and being sick!

also on my 3rd one. had it bad with first born, nothing with my 2nd one and this one is giving me a run for my money. what i find helpful is to keep yourself hydrated even if that means taking a sip of something every 20 minutes. try not to let yourself get too hungry. and i also have to brush my teeth with very cold water. (that seems to help so i can at least brush my teeth). it's just all the hormone changes. every pregnancy is different. hang in there and i hope for both our sakes that the morning sickness wears off very soon.

ps. i had gotten so dehydrated with my first my dr put me on reglan. i am on it again with this one because it's the only way i can drink or eat and keep it down.

I feel your pain, and I am in the same boat, oy this is child number 5 for me and I was terribly sick with every one of them! There are some things that help. Eat small meals every couple of hours. When you are really sick just eat whatever you can, but try to eat a little protein. That helps. Take a walk. Mild exercize helps, but don't overdo it, and stay hydrated. Foods that help with nausea: rice, mango, ginger(if you get ginger ale make sure it has real ginger), crackers, bananas and basically anything that sounds good. And rest when you feel it coming on too. Sometimes that is the only thing that helps. Good luck! And congratulations!

I had HG with my 2nd and 3rd- only for 3 months with my 1st, my 2nd I was hospitalised with it , and my 3rd I refused to let it get that bad and went to the dr and demanded meds! If it gets bad, please go back to the dr, there are safe meds available.Good luck

Each pregnancy is different. With my 1st girl I was sick as a dog (morning, noon and night) right up until delivery (throwing up while pushing...). With my 2nd I had a couple of really bad vomiting incidents but mostly just some minor nausea - still threw up during delivery though :)
With my mom, she had morning sickness really badly with me and my youngest sister and nothing at all with the middle one.
What worked for me with the sickness and nausea was a lot of small meals, heavy on the carbs.

I have had 2 girls and 1 boy and morning sickness with all. My first child I was 20 and my 2nd and 3rd were in my LATE 30's. Morning sickness is a sign of healthiness of your baby. You are less likely to miscarry if you have it. Eat well, and light..... But, if you dont....hey, you will get sick and that will pass in a few months.

Our bodies change as do we. Each pregnancy is different just as each of us is unique. It could also be that your body is changing in terms of food that it likes or needs and perhaps your eating habits have not.

I recall having a strange reaction to smelling sauteed mushrooms with my first child and it never occurred thereafter.
Our bodies and needs are constantly changing but because we are creatures of habit.....we don't often listen or watch!
Hope your stomach settles down soon. Chamomile tea is good for stomach and digestive upsets....hot or cold! try it. Might help.

Such wise women... listen to them. I found bananas and crackers helped me the most. Little meals... and try not to push your body too much. Do what you can and leave what you can't. This part will be over soon. Good Luck.

I never got sick with any of mine but this pregnancy I had more nausea than I did for my first 2. Like they said every one is different. I at a lot of Sunflower seeds in my first trimester. I found that helped a lot with the nausea for some reason.

Every pregnancy is different. I had morning sickness with both of my pregnancies, but it was more constant nausea than anything. I only actually got sick maybe 5 times throughout each pregnancy and it was usually at night. If you haven't been already, try to eat small portions, but eat frequently so your stomach is never empty.
