It was march 2nd my son woke up having these seizures. after the 2nd one we had called the ambulance and we went straight to the ER. he continued to have the seizures. he had 6 of them within an 4 hour range. they had given him the drug keppra (which is for epilepsy). well they weened him off because they did an EEG test in fargo ND and didn't find anything. but the medication made him aggressive. and now its been almost 3 weeks after he quit taking the medication and he still is having these so called fits and is very aggressive. He will get upset over the littlest things like yesterday his toast was to hot to touch and he got so aggravated. and when he has his fits his puiples get huge, and he punches, hits, scratches, pinches, bites, pulls your hair, screams at the top of his lungs, hollers at you, throws things ie: a glass cup, the tv remote, he ripped my mothers glasses off her face and threw them at her. (and befor all of this he had never acted like that. not saying my kid is perfect he had temper tantrums but never ever did he hit or bit or any of the violent stuff he did scream). and after he like snaps out of it hes right back to his normal loving self. we had another EEG test done in my town and it came back normal but they said that that doesn't mean that he cant have any more seizures. which he hasn't had any more since he came off the medication. just these fits hes been having and they aren't all the time. they are random and about random things. any other mothers go threw anything like this??? im getting to my last straw and don't know what to do. we also have an appointment with a cardiologist and a behavioral therapist.
