4 year old still on bottle

My son had a problem gaining weight so he had to stay on the bottle to gain more weight,now here i am his going on 4 years and the bottle is getting harder to stop.need help?

So that's not so bad......you shouldn't have to hard of a time. If he had a hard time gaining weight I wouldn't push the issue. It's like everyone says, "He's not going to college with it."





My little secret is that my 6 year old WILL NOT give up the pacifier. She's been through a lot though. Still I'd like to see it gone. And my younger one who just turned 3 still takes a bottle of water at night. My husband and I separated a year ago and they are both feeling it. They are both very insecure.



So I just let them have it......for now.

When does he take it? Make it only at nap and bedtime. Then start putting water in it. Then put less and less water in it until there is barely any in it. Then take it away. This should last a month I would think, to a month and a half.
