Falling in, it's not the tolet from home... She is in JK and her teacher has tried to work with as well... She trembles when getting on it at school... I have sent her seat she puts on top of ours at home and still nothing... She won't even go at family ... We have tried everything we can think of

Our girls are 8 and 9 and they still don't like the bathrooms at school. The student bathrooms have automatic flushers on the toilets and our girls are really scare of them. Luckily they come home for lunch and don't need to use the school bathrooms.

My only advice is that you try to figure out why she is afraid so you can work on that. Would it help if a friend went to the bathroom with her, or if she used a small staff bathroom instead of a large student bathroom with stalls? I don't know. But maybe if you can understand her fear better it will be easier to work on a solution.

A lot of grownup prefer their own bathroom at home though. I do everything I can to avoid public bathrooms.

Do you know what exactly she is scared about?I think if you know the exact reason you can maybe work from there.. For example if she is scared that the toilette is dirty you could try with desinfect wipes and show her that it can be cleaned.Let us know what she is scared about..maybe some moms have advice..
