Ladies I need some advice !!
My 4 (just turned ) year old will not play with others or talk at nursery he just walks around the room playing with different objects for a few minutes then moves on to something else.he flaps his arms like a bird to show his excitement which I hate when he does he jumps alot aswell.

He is fantastic at numbers letter shapes etc its the social side he's lacking in
He has has two older sisters who always have friends round and is really chatty and playful at home even on the way to
Nursery and way home
He's chatty just not in nursery :-(

I feel like iv done something wrong :-(
Can anyone give me any advice on how to make my gorjus little boy more social
Thanks

I apologize if I offended you. I did not mean to at all. I'm very sorry. Some of what you said sounded like the same things an acquaintance of mine is dealing with with her own child. She found out that there was a disorder. That's the only reason. I wouldn't have said it otherwise. Again, I'm very sorry that I offended you.

Please feel free to label my son though then I can speak to nursery key worker about your advice

I don't mean to be rude trish but a "disorder " is not what my son has he is the most intelligent boy at nursery he just isn't social which is why I am asking for advice !
He has been at nursery a year already so
I'm sure if he had a "disorder" his nursery key worker would have already referred him.
I just want advice on social skills that can help a toddler.
I find your comment offensive.

Have you considered having your son tested to see if he might have some type of disorder that he can receive help for? I don't want to put a label on your son so I won't say what could be the issue. Maybe you could ask your doctor for some advice/suggestions.
