Don't worry about it!! It's normal to go up to 42 weeks! Just to let you know, I didn't feel any contractions other than Braxton Hicks and had my checkup on the Monday. I wasn't even dialated and my plug was still somewhat long. The next day my water broke at 5:30 pm and I started having contractions around 11:30pm; my son was born Wed at 12:15pm. So, my point is, even if you feel you're not showing signs of labour doesn't mean anything, you can go into labour at ANY time...lol!!
Here are my tips...have LOTS of sex (stimulates contractions), take long walks, climb stairs and sit on an excercise ball instead of a chair as it helps the baby position itself into the crevix to get things going...Good luck!! And Congrats!!

the actual average gestation is 41 weeks and 1 day! just relax and take advantage of the extra time you get alone with your self and your man! before you know it your baby will be 6 months old and you will only have gone on 3 dates! do some yoga, take a bath, dance! have fun and appreciate the last few moments of carrying your baby inside you. then they start crying! best of luck for a transformative and beautiful birth!

Don't worry - I got to 42 weeks with no sign of labour apart from my 'show' (mucus plug dropping out) and had to be induced in the end. The induction meant that I had a very quick labour of just 2 hrs of contractions and under 3 hrs of pushing before my perfectly healthy little girl appeared, so please don't worry. You've obviously made such a lovely and comfy home for your little one that they don't want to leave it yet! xx

When I was pregnant with my daughter, whom is now 3. I was one day past my due date, at my final O.B. appt. with no signs of labor beginning. Actually, the day was December 13, and my O.B. informed me that the baby was just now beginning to drop. She said there was no way I was going to have my baby by the new year at the rate she was going. So, she scheduled an induction, and I had my little Josephine 4 days later. I understand how tired you must be. I was almost 200lbs (starting from 120lbs prepreg.) everything was swollen and I could hardly get out of bed every morning. I know it may not be much, but I wish you the best and just try to hang in there. It will all be worth it when you see your little one.
yea it normal full term is anywhere from 37 weeks till 42 weeks, like i never had any signs of labor an i was 50% effaced at 23 weeks an had to go on bed rest. till the day i got induces which was 38 weeks never had a contraction not a nuthing not a mucus plug nuthing. is this your first pregnancy if so you might just not no what it feels like i sure didnt, an probally wont no the next time i have a baby, try doing alot of walking an have alot of sex i dont think it works but alot of people do an you can try nipple stimulation
