43 and want a baby

I have 4 kids, from 24 to 14 I lost a pregnancy in 2011 after being told I could not have children any longer and to my surprise when I thought I had some terminal illness I was told those magical words Your pregnant, fast forward and a baby is all I want doctors keep saying I'm to old, does anyone have any advise

Thank you so much, I can say I have been looking for a new doctor and hope soon I will once again hear those beautiful words. Congratulations keep me posted on your progress.

Hi Stephanie, my advice would be to change your dr. Saying your too old is not a good enough reason. If there are medical reasons fair enough but age!!!

I saw my GP Oct last year a month before my 43rd birthday. We discussed my getting pregnant & I voiced my concern's. Her reply was more & more women are getting pregnant later in life & having healthy, happy babies & to not read too much into the risks etc... on internet as healthy pregnancies & babies out number the abnormal ones. She was more than happy to remove my coil & I can happily say I'm now 11 weeks pregnant, tested positive a week after my 43rd birthday :D

If there are no health risks & you & your partner want a baby i'd say go for it.
