5 month old with microcephaly

My five month old baby was born with some mild health problems. At first He has a tongue tie, heart murmur, and fluid in ear. Then around 2-3 months he started to show developmental delays. He was not tracking his eyes seemed to wander not making eye contact. He did not smile and still doesn't to this day at 5 months old. The biggest concern is his lack of muscle definition. Presently, he still has problems holding his head and still is very floppy. Last week he was hospitalized for a week because he was having infantile spasm seizures. This was very frightening to see and devastating to know something is wrong with my baby. At the hospital they did an MRI and said they didn't see anything abnormal but would re scan at age 2 if delays persisted. The are still running tests: enzyme blood work, genetics, and others. We don't have the results yet, but it has just been so stressful. Its hard having a five month old that doesn't smile, laugh, or even look at me. I feel like my baby doesn't even know who I am. He is a very fussy baby and doesn't take comfort to me often. I just wanted to see if anyone has had similar experiences with their baby and what kind of progression their child has made in life.
