My 5 month old was cooing at 3.5 months but now she isn't. She makes vibrating/spitting noises like a horse( not sure how to explain). But no coos. She smiles a ton and we can get her to giggle once a day about. Is this normal ? I am very worried.

i think it is normal . My baby stopped cooing at 3 months and then did on and off. Started babling ma ma at 5 months and stopped it . The only consistant word she says is ta . . .lol . She is now around 11 months old and babbles a lot . Dont worry so much . Babies reach their milestones at their own pace . Mention it to ur doc on next visit just to feel good. Now ur baby will be more receptive since 6 months plus is a great phase . The understand and are more expressive . Try musical toys . Baby will enjoy it . I am sure u will enjoy the attension , giggles and wet kisses u r baby gives u .take care , may the Almigjhty bless u and ur little one .
