My 6-month-old is constantly arching her back. Almost all Google search attempts result in information on acid reflux and/or digestive issues. I know this is not the reason. It occurs most often when I attempt to put her in a seated position (with her favorite toys), particularly on the floor. She will not sit, even assisted. After two seconds, she pushes back. She was able to roll over both ways at 3 months and enjoys tummy-time with attempts to craw, and likes standing (assisted) as well, so I don't think it is a developmental delay. I have researched physical therapy activities to assist, but she doesn't make it more than a few seconds in, and the back is thrown out so she can lie on the floor. I work with her on this several time a day as I do with her other milestone activities, but am making zero progress on this.
