Hi Everyone! I had a question (or inquiry) into what time your baby goes to bed and what time (or number of naps) your 6 month old has during the day.
My son goes to bed aroun 8 or 8:30pm at night and wakes up at 8:30 in the morning...so his first nap is't until 11:30 and then a second one around 3 or 4. I read Dr. Weissbluth's book and it mentions putting a baby down at 6:30 or 7 and WAKING them up at 7 for a 9am nap and then one at 12-2. I don't really want to wake my little one up any earlier - the 8:30am works for us, bu a first nap at 11:30 is late and sometimes he sleeps 45 minutes, other times over an hour to hour and a 1/2...so really, my day doesn't get started until after 1 which means I miss a lot of mommy groups!
Anyways just wanted to know what some of you do for your 6 month old's naps - I finally have something that works ( he goes down awake now..before I had to rock him) but should he be goign to bed earlier and napping earlier?
He still wakes once a night to eat, either at midnight or at 2'ish...but still not a sleeper through the night!
