I have a 6 month old girl. She for the last 4 days wants nothing to do with her bottle or milk. I've tried the sippy cup and didn't work. Today was the first time trying some water and she didn't even want that so I tried some very diluted apple juice and didn't want that either. It seems she sees the bottle and starts freaking out. If she doesn't have the formula its in the morning and I'm lucky to have her drink 3 oz. but the other three I throw in her cereal so that isn't too bad. She has no problem eating her cereal and foods. Right now she;s on zucchini and she loves it, I have it a bit watery as I make my own food. This is frustrating! If anyone has any hints or anything to help me out feel free, I'm open to opinions! lol. What do I do if she doesn't want her formula anymore. Not even the bottle. Teething maybe? She doesn't have any teeth yet.

Thanks so much!

Ok, Thanks...... We were doing cereal in the morning and veggie or fruit for lunch and cereal for dinner. but a bottle before each of them. Maybe I'll try cutting out the evening cereal first and see what happens.

Thanks for your reply!

I'd cut out the solids for a few days. She 'should' get hungry enough to take the milk. Formula or breast milk is supposed to be the bulk of their diet til a year old. Cereal three times a day is way too much for a 6 month old... especially in addition to any other foods. Once she realizes she's not going to get anything other than the milk... she will hopefully start drinking it again. After she's drinking enough then you can start slowly adding solids back into her diet once a day for a while... 2-3 times a day around 9 months is fine.

Good luck!
