Hi all. My 6 month old baby wakes up anywhere from 4-15 times a night! I am exhausted!!!! She is strictly breast fed. At 6 months now, she will not try any solids. If I force her she cries and ends up gagging. And unfortunately I'm not producing as much milk as I should. So I assume she is hungry also. To top it off she hasn't soiled her diaper for almost 2 weeks now!!! I have tried everything Dr tell me. ( prune juice, gas med, water, grape juice, suppositories) what can I do? I'm tired and sleep deprived... Help!

I'm not a doctor and believe no matter how great the advice, you first call should be to your doctor. I'm a old momand grandma, I can give y I u some things that has work for me, but promise to call doc first. Try mixing breast milk with formula. Once the baby adjust to that start adding sone some rice to it. You will need to adjust the nipple but should take it. Once they get the taste of cereal in their system you can try once or twice a day to make it thicker and feed with a sppoon. Make sure they are dry and happy. The better the mood the higher success you will get. Once you get them to that point the rest follows naturally. Good luck.

Hi, that sounds hard :( on the solids I must admit my son 6 months loves but my niece wouldn't eat anything so all the advice given although not everyone would agree was to put something sweet in it... So apples with honey or something like that.... It worked for her slowly introducing different food all with the same sweetness and then slowly reducing it. Not the best nutritionally but it only took probably 3 weeks till she needed none.
I started giving my son or my husband started giving my son a bottle of formula before bed about a month ago, this helped him be fuller for sleep and now he will generally sleep about 4-5 hours first stretch then after breast in night wakes 2 hourly... I'm currently doing sleep school and she suggested to make the middle bight feed a bottle too and see if that help the second part... I think I will try but I'm finding hard to let go of breastfeeding lol but I'll try as I only want what's best for him.
Before the formula he would wake an uncountable time in the night too.
I hope this helps not conventional advice but last straw advice :) good luck
