My boy sleeps horribly in his own bed. I've been co-sleeping with him for the past almost 3 months. I can't do it anymore! My hubby sleeps on a different mattress, we broke down our bed so its just the mattress on the floor so if Brayden falls, he doesn't get hurt.
When Brayden goes to bed, he ends up getting up at night and crawling towards toys, or to come downstairs.
At night he kicks me, pulls my hair, get up and tries to play.

Any advice?!

he can go to sleep by himself that's not a problem at all. but he doesn't stay asleep. we will wake up every hour on the hour in his own bed. when I go to bed he doesn't try to go downstairs or anything, he just wants to kick me and pull my hair, if I feed him he goes back to sleep. and that only happens like 3x a night in my bed. where as he goes to bed at 10:30 and wakes up a total of 12x when he's in his own bed

What a difficult situation for you. I am however a little confused. Is he in a real bed? If so I think 6 months a little young for that. Because children move a lot when they sleep it is best for them to be in a cot by themselves. It would also mean that he was not able to go downstairs. It may even help him to go back to sleep by himself. Believe it or not going to sleep by themselves is a skill that needs to be taught to children. Who wouldn't want to be cuddled to sleep? If he was in a safe environment where he couldn't get out and endanger himself he would know that bed is for sleeping. It does however take a long time and a lot of patience. Try letting him get himself to sleep. He might just need a little practice. Good luck
