my 6 month old is been very fussy..he was pretty content baby till 4 months was sleeping long hours in the night. After he started showing signs of teething, such as drooling, chomping on his fist etc, he started getting up every 2-3 hours during night and it's been two months and he is still doing that.. :( i don't know what to do..we give him cold teething ring but i don't see any teeth making their appearance. He is getting BF and formula and oatmeal in the morning..i don't know what else to do except cuddle with him in the night until he goes to sleep :(

My lo started at 2 months and just popped out a tooth at 8 months! It can take a while. My first child was born teething and popped his first tooth after 6 months. Teething gets worse at night. It can be trying but you can do it! Make sure you give him ibuprofen or whatever pain medication you are using right before bed time to ensure you get the most sleep out of the dose. If he wont take medication Hyland's Baby makes teething tablets I've found to be invaluable. You can also use the various numbing gels but they don't last very long and can be a pain to administer. I once rubbed the numbing gel on my nipple or a teething toy to get it on their gums.
