She'll go when she's ready momma. Some kids skip crawling and go straight to walking.

I agree with the other posters - it isn't a problem, just let your baby go at her own pace. My son didn't crawl until he was nearly 9 months old, but then he started walking a month after that. As long as your baby is generally on track with her milestones, this is not something to be concerned about, and is no indication of when she'll hit her milestones in the future.

I really dont see what your problem is, some babies just dont crawl. If she wants to she will, if she dosn't she wont. It's not a good idea to put her on her stomach. if she dos'nt like it, it's like a punishment, but she dosn't know why. Just relax and let her do things in her own time. Enjoy.

My daughter never crawled. She went straight from sitting to standing up to walking. At eight months she was a sitter. By ten months, she was walking. I didn't observe any bad effects from this. If you're worried, take her for an assessment but if she seems okay in other respects, I wouldn't be worried yet. All the best.

dont worry about it. my little girl was same - would never lie on tummy and never crawled. she walked on first birthday and never had any problem!

My daughters just got it at 8 months but alot of bubs dont get it for another couple. Just play with her and enjoy where she is because soon enough you will have to start working harder to keep her out of trouble once she is mobile ;)

have to agree with all the moms here. also, my daughter never crawled on her hands and knees - she used to wriggle along like a snake - and went from there to walking :)
you could try to tempt baby with interesting toys or your arms by sitting a short way in front of her. Remember to reward any success with lots of hugging and kissing.

My son was the same way. He really didn't crawl until he was about 10 months old, but he inherited my large skull (mine is 23.5 inches around, his is 20 right now) so he had a lot of trouble holding his head up until then.

Don't worry, babies develop at different stages. I spent a lot of time on my tummy playing with him, but he still wasn't interested in it until he was older.

Try laying on the floor with her on your tummy and showing her how much fun it can be. Try putting her on her back and laying next to her, she will want to roll over to you. Just remember every baby does things when they are ready and not before, trust me, when she starts bookin all over the place you will miss the days you knew right where she was! Enjoy, its a fun age.

My daughter is 10 months old. she started crawling about a week ago, but now she's so quick! She hated being on her tummy, so I kept sitting her up. She went from sitting to crawling, no issues. About 8-9 months is when the developmental block of crawling usually happens. If they start earlier or later, don't worry! Every baby is different. With that in mind, if your wee one isn't crawling or showing interest in crawling by 13 months old, see a doctor about it

Hope I helped!

My son was the same way. He hated to be on his stomach. He didn't crawl until he was 10 months old! They all figure it out at there own speed. You can try getting on the floor on your stomach along with her and play with toys. This helped my son to not be so scared of being on his stomach. Hope this helps.
