Help. Kindergarten issues. We decided to enrol my daughter into a small catholic school (vs a reputable public school). Problems. Only 8 girls and 21 boys. So that means for the next 7 years, she only has 7 "girl" friends to choose from (apart from outside activities). She's rather shy, finds boys quite "aggressive" and at a class party held 7 weeks into school term, was entirely alone. Best things she likes about school is my picking her up. I ask her what she does at lunchtime, and she says sits around. Do I move her to the public school (which is closer) or hope that one of the 7 other girls will become "friends". BTW, I'm also not catholic (hubbie is, but non practicing), so the religious side is a "bit much" (I'm trying for her sake, but there's no connection for me at that level). She just looks so alone, yet the public school has equal boys/girls and about 100 kids in kindergarten. I am so confused, and have a 'lonely' daughter which is breaking my heart.
