Hi! Ive been away from home with my 8 month old for a week and he got his first stuffy nose and cough. The dr said to give him .75 ml of Robitusim every 6 hrs and to use saline drops. I've done both ( getting drops in is a challenge!!) but have not been able to use the aspirator. It makes him cry even more which worsens the stuffy nose. Any tips? Any way to make him feel more comfortable?

Yes Mara
My baby Ava caught a terrible cough and nose infection and I rubbed the baby vicks rub on her chest the other vicks on her back shoulders Lightly. I boiled water and when it was done I cut up a fresh half onion and let it sit there for awhile strained the onion when the water cooled I added some of it with her formula. Onion is a natural penisulin It aids in opening the sinus area. I also bought the smallplug in dry vicks evapor and kept that near her This let her sleep beautifuly during naps and at night. Ialways kept a pillow under her sheet to give that little bit of elevation so when the nose drains it just goes out or they swallow it.Then give what the doctor recommended. Together it should all help. I absolutely hated it whenAva got sick In a few days it was gone. I did give her a small amount of the babies Tylonol. The amount my doctor said to give when they get their shoots. This worked for me Good luck
