My 8 month old little boy has always had some wind issues I believe to begin with because he had attachment problems due to a small tongue tie. Over the last few weeks however, the nights have become terrible, waking hourly sometimes and just screaming. The only thing that has changed much recently is I've started giving him weetbix for breakfast, could this cause wind?

I haven't been putting milk in the weet bix just boiled water and some pears. I've used the wind drops previously and not found them very effective. He has gas through the day too I's just that most of the time (not always) he can handle it when he's awake, when he's asleep it really bothers him.

What milk do you use in the weetbix? Have you tried any of the wind drops you can buy? I really don't see it being the weetbix though if you are giving it to him in the morning and you aren't having the problems till night. You'd be best speaking to your doctor.
