I was the same way, my body kept it going, like it didn't know to give it up....gaining weight, nausea, etc. My doctor called it a "missed abortion", my body wasn't recognizing it.
I didn't find out till I had a 12 week ultrasound that it wasn't there. I wanted my body to naturally miscarry but it wasn't and had a d&c at 14 weeks. It was my second pregnancy (I already had one child) and I was devastated and depressed for a couple of months. You will get through this, sometimes there is a reason for everything. Sorry that you had to go through this.

My body tried to keep the pregnancy going for 4 weeks. I still felt pregnant but started bleeding at 11 weeks. When I had the ultrasound the sac was the size of a 7 week gestation and there was no fetus.
I had to have a D&C because my body would have taken too long to miscarry naturally.

I did and unfortunately it wasn't good news.
It was my first as well but I have since gone on to have 3 healthy babies.

I went today for my first ultrasound the doc did a vaginal ultrasound said I was 8 week but couldn't see the baby just the sac...so he told me to go back in two weeks and if by then they still couldnt see the baby then it wasnt going to develop and I wouldnt be having a baby it freaked me out an I'm so worried now because its my first pregnancy.

This happened to me too. It's called an oblided ovum. The sac will grow as if you are pregnant but there is no baby. It's like a bird hatching an unfertilized egg. I had to have a d&c. But since then I have had two healthy children. You will get through this. Good luck!

Well go and see your doctor and get that done first. Then you can discuss it with your doctor.
