My 8wks old baby just started fussing and crying last night and she was straining to go; she hasnt gone yesterday, this is the first time since she was born. She fusses and cries, I tried massaging her stomach but it doesnt help, she will continue to cry like shes in pain. She's breastfed and bottle fed as well with Similac Advance, I gave her a dosage of gripe water, but then it comes back, I'm worried cause shes getting warm too. Please help any suggestions

I agree that it could be that her stomach can't handle the back and forth between breastmilk and formula. I found patting them on the butt (with diaper on), as well as gently rubbing their lower backs helped mine go when they were stopped up.

I would try "bicycling" her legs gently, followed by a warm bath. And try, if you can, to feed her solely off of breastmilk for a little while.
