I've just noticed that my baby daughters left foot seems slightly bigger than her right one. It feels a little 'puffy' on the top just before the toes. When i try to rotate the ankle it feels stiff and doesn't move freely like the right foot. Also when i set her on her feet her left foot seems to curve inward. She can move her toes and is in no pain with it but i am concerned. Can anyone help?

Unless it has gotten slammed in a door, I doubt it's sprained. As long as she feels no pain, and it's not turning different colors she is ok. Many children's feet (or foot) turn inwards a bit. When it is severe it is called clubbed foot. Her doctor would have noticed this and tried to correct it by now. My niece could put the bottoms of both her feet on her diaper, between her legs! I was concerned but she grew out of it. If it starts turning blue, purple, really red, take her to a hospital. If not don't worry babies are very flexible and instinctively know what's bad for them.

My 7mon old daughter is going though the same thing but her left ankle has been swollen and lumpy sense she came home from the hospital and every time I bought up the doctors always say oh it's nothing so they never checked her out well we moved and they have new doctors and now she's had a ultrasound on her ankle she has 4 blood clouts in her ankle now she have to have a MRI done and she's gonna have to have surgery done but if those other doctors would've listen to me my daughter wouldn't have to be going though this

Your welcome, I used to rush my son to the ER everytime he bumped his head. I quickly learned what the doctors call warning signs and things that are best to wait out a bit. My nephew was limping around for about 2 hours one day, complaining his foot hurt. We took him to the ER and as soon as we got there he got up and started running around just fine. Kids can be tricky.
