9 Year old son with migraines every day

Hi everyone! I'm a pretty anxious mommy and recently my 9 year old has been getting terrible headaches. He's been getting them for years...probably since he was 3 years old but the past 6 months or so they've increased in severity and amount. This week I got called 2 days from school to pick him up and the other days he's been home with me. The headaches come and go and don't wake him up at night. Our pediatrician thinks they are migraines with daily headaches and my naturopath dr believes they are caused by diet/blood sugar and sensory overload. Everytime he gets one I immediately get anxious and think the worst. I have a call in to the neurologist we were referred to. Has anybody else had similar experiences?

So, what have you done to correct this? Migraines can be a serious health concern, indicating other health problems. If the child has been experiencing this for years, I would hope that you've had a full physical (or several) done, an eye exam, and a visit with a neurologist.

Have you changed his diet, his sugar intake, etc?
