9 year old with ADHD makes noises while playing

My 9 year old makes noises while he plays and tends to still in gage in imaginary play when alone . He does it while in hyper spells off of medication. His social interactions are fine. He plays very well with other children. His delays are not social. He has a hard time with reading and writing. He has been diagnosed with both dyslexia and dysgraphia. He also still wets the bed from time to time. The doctor says he has a small bladder and it should stop by age 12. It is my understanding that dyslexia and dysgraphia work hand in hand with adhd. But sometimes I wonder if he's been miss diagnosed. Does all this sound right for the add diagnosis

ADHD/ADD kids often have learning issues. As a school nurse I see a few kids with dyslexia and dysgraphia in my school, but not linked with ADHD. I myself am dyslexic but not ADD.
If you feel your child was misdiagnosed, you can request a full revaluation to be done by the school. The tricky thing is if he was diagnosed ADD by his doctor and put on meds, the evaluation may demonstrate his true issues. You'd have to consider taking him off meds for a few weeks and then reevaluating from the start. The noises and imaginary play don't seem strange for a 9 year old.
It may well be that he has the two learning disabilities and was getting so frustrated by that stress that he "appeared" to have an attention deficit. I wish I could be more helpful but I always tell parents to trust their gut and if you think that he has been misdiagnosed, pursue it.
