Here is the official CoM policy:

"I am a dad. Can I join Circle of Moms?
Dads have separate privileges on Circle of Moms and are only allowed to post on Child Pages that they have been invited to. You can create your Dad Profile by clicking the link on the email or Facebook invitation you received. Dads must be granted permission by Moms in order to edit a Child Page and are currently not allowed in the Circle of Moms communities to post questions or respond to conversations. Circle of Moms is looking into providing a dad-oriented community in the near future."

I feel the same way. I don't particularly want to open up about the kind of things that we sometimes need to talk about when there are guys who might respond. I mean...it's the internet and I do 'get' that men might be reading it because we can't stop them. It's when they make profiles and respond that it weirds me out.

Well, it is a public site, anyone can look at the things you post, registered or not, unless it is in a private group, so even if men couldn't register, they could still read your posts......so if you are posting things that you are uncomfortable with the world reading, then maybe you need to rethink your online presence.

With regard to CoM policy, men are allowed to be registered on the site, as part of their child's profile, but they may not use it as a forum to harass women, and they may not participate in discussions. CoM Management are currently working on a solution for the men who wish to participate in parenting discussions.

I just "ranted" about that a few months ago. It annoys the hell out of me. The one that pissed me off the most was when a dude gave this mom advice about what/when it is normal for a teenage girl to get her period. His daughter ran straight to him the second she got it! Needless to say, it was my comment that got deleted that time. : x Wait till you read advice from the children!! Lol Just report the comment, the MOD's will take care of it.

We occasionally get men in here, but they don't usually stay long. If someone reports their profile it usually gets deleted.
