A very gross question

First of all sorry this so long but you prob needed history to answer me if u can - thanks!! I have never been grossed out by my kids poop as was never a big deal and they were very different. My son goes everyday at least once and my daughter had problems goin on and off since birth. But my daughter is now goin to chiropractor (she is 2.5 years old) and she has only been to 2 sessions and is workin really well so far as before we went she was goin maybe 3 times a week and now she goes usually 6 times a week. So when she has to poop now it is all of a sudden and she asks for a pull-up (she usually wont use potty for pooping yet but not forcing her yet as she is now actually pooping so will that continue for a bit - is totally day trained for pee though:)). So usually her bowel movements are harder and darker, but since the chiro been getting softer and lighter in color. But my question is today when changing her after pooping the first half is what I considered to be a 'normal' poop and the second half was basically a mucus glob (a big glob prob 1/4cup) and was just poopy color but definately mucusy as hung from her and was sticky and stuff - tmi I know). As well, she is on and off for complaining about her tummy and vagina hurting (not at the same time). But she definately complains less since chiropractor. So maybe the mucus is just yucky build-up from bein constipated alot before or is it something I should get looked at. Usually whenever we go to doc I would tell them that she complains about her tummy alot (and it looks bloated every once it a while) but they just feel her tummy and say is fine.

the mucous is used as a lubricant. It's generally not in such large quantities but because she has been so constipated it could be her body building it up to try and loosen the bowel movement. The sore tummy could be gas pain related to having a bowel movement. If she complains about her stomach put your ear on her belly. If you hear a bubbly kind of sound it is gas related. if it is really bothering her get her to go on her hands and knees and rock back and forth this should help ease the gas bubbles out.

To me it sounds like either constipation or diarrhea. I think i've seen that type of consistency before.
