Recently i made a decision to get out of a very bad violet relationship with my sons father, we have known each other for 8 year and our son is 7. he needed a place to live 2 years ago so i let him live with me and he never left . since that day he changed my life for the worse. He always had women coming and going while i was working and every time i let him know his behavor is unnecaptable tihings for me got worse.long story short i was fed up with how he treated me like his slave and i can only do what he needs and i cant do any things i need to do including using my own money to buy nessesities for me and our son. so with the help of my amazing family i planned an escape and a plan on what i should do. i packed a few of my things and told him good bye that morning before i said i was going to work and my son said good bye before school and we never returned . my son had no idea i only told him what was going on tha morning before we took off on the road . i need advise to make sure he says posotive and not spoiled becuse now i am doing everhing myself ! i also want to know if anyone thinks i made the wrong decision .???

It is never the wrong de ion to get out of an abusive relationship. If you don't have financial sources to hire an attorney to have full parental rights, the county can help you with free legal counsel and refer you to a mediator

Please go straight to a women's shelter. That will legally protect you and your child from him. Otherwise he has parental rights. They have social services and lawyers to help you. Please go.

It's never wrong to get out of an abusive situation/relationship. However, you could get in serious legal trouble for what amounts to kidnapping of your son. You should go to court and have custody established and visitation for the father.
