My 21 month old is making less eye contact and also reacting to his name very rare. He love music and sometimes he is trying to make the same sound of running mixer, byk ect but he does not like to take food using his own hands and also not following the instructions given. Is this a sign of autism?

Well that is exactly what I thought as I read this, great that you are reaching out for help, because the earlier you can help your toddler, the better. The white noise is obviously very comfortable for him/her, so offer them that as much as you can and you might want to look up 'sensory diet' and see what you can do there too.

Getting a diagnosis might not be easy, depending on where you live. The tendency is to jump for joy and be thankful that it isn't autism, but if you really want to help your child, you might have to go for a second or third, or even fourth opinion. Once you have a diagnosis, you get more compassion, support and life at home will improve too, simply because the search for parenting explanations can stop which is natural but tough on a relationship.
