About formula feeding

My baby is 4months 4days old. She weighs 5.04. She is taking 3fl.oz formula for every two hours. But my baby is not getting enough weight. M I giving correct quantity to her r not. R anything g I have to do to her? M not yet started to giving solid foods.

She has almost doubled her birth weight at 4 months... that is a FINE weight gain. As long as you feed her when she is hungry and she is growing and thriving and the doctor has no concerns... you are doing fine.

Yes I talked to paedaetrician. But my daughter used to have vomitings after each feeding. Her birth weight is 2.7kgs. But now she is 5.04. Doctor said child is gaining weight no problem. M first time mom. M giving milk for every two hours.

You should talk to your pediatrician if you think your baby isn't gaining enough weight? Are you feeding her when she's hungry, until she's no longer hungry, or do you stick to a set amount and schedule? Don't start introducing foods until after 6 months, and then it's only to get the baby used to different flavors and textures. The main part of her nutrition should still come from the formula.
