I left my daughter's father when I was 7 months pregnant due to "bad habits" and abuse, amongst other things. Since then he has continued to make bad decisions and is not jobless and is living with one relative after the other. He has not seen our daughter who turns one in a few days. we tried to work things out but he lies and his tempers gets in the way of any progress. so i ended up asking him to only talk to me when its about our daughter and he wouldnt even ask how she was instead he would have people contact me harassing me. i have talked to his family and they havnt helped in anyway to calm the situation. My family has been supportive and have since cut him out due to his behaviour. I hoped for his child's sake he could get it together and we could co-parent amicably. I have now totally blocked out his family and friends because I can no longer take the harassment. Emotionally its straining and I wonder if I made the right decision and how to cope with that decision. I have essentially taken care of our daughter without any form of assistance from him and his family.

I too never comment but i am tired of feeling helpless and like a victim. it has been a very trying time for me and I have so many emotions and feelings, sometimes i feel like a mad person. I felt i need people like yourself in similar situations to talk to. If you feel more comfortable talking in private contact me on manyame.A@gmail.com

Hi i just read your post. I have never commented or communicated online before "ever!" I just woke up and was sneeking out of my room where my three month daughter lay sleeping. I was desperate to go online to find out about after pregnancy skin itching! Then i stumbled upon you! I am in the same boat as you with her Father ( similar).
