I'm looking for a variety of activities for young females by age. This would include both indoor and outdoor activities. This is so that I can help out and be there for my friends baby as she matures in age, or if I ever would have a daughter of my own.

Thanks. And collecting snails is an activity. I didn't really specify what I wanted, and I don't care if it breaks the gender barrier. Thanks for the help either way. I'll try to take your advice.

Activities for children are something that evolves. I don't think a single person could give you a list of girl activities that are exact for a particular age or gender, because it is very much dependent on the child. For example, would you want on your list to go and collect snails and observe them? Probably not. But for my daughter that is something that she just naturally did when she was about 6 or 7. She also loves Lego City, playing video games with her brother, shooting hoops, playing soccer and tennis, and watching princess movies, and so on.

I think my point is, just go with the flow. Stop trying to plan things out year by year (or by gender) and just enjoy the simple things. Give them as many experiences as possible, and just follow their lead and their interests.

Its because (even though I'm not technically her aunt) I'm considered her aunt. I've been there for the baby, since it was born. As I said before though, I'm interested in because I want to be there for her, as well as if I have a daughter of my own.

It all depends on what the child wants to do. Some like dance others like sports. Girls can do any activities that boys do but none of us know what she is going to want to do.
I would like to know why you are so interested in your friends baby though. That's usually the parents job (to be involved with their childs activities).
