I was wondering what you do to keep you children occupied. My son is 16 months old and I want to establish a better routine throughout the day. We have the usual schedule; Breakfast, play, snack, nap, lunch, play, supper, snack, bed.
I really want to engage him more with his play, but am unsure how. Does anyone know any effective ways to mentally stimulate your toddler? We've done coloring, and on occasion flash-cards, but I know there are activities that I haven't thought up yet.
Does anyone recommend baby sign language.
Now that he is getting older and has a wider attention span; I was thinking of trying that.
I just don't want to feel like I didn't give my son every advantage possible.
