I don't know how to keep my little one away from the xbox that is played by the 12 year old? He gets very extreme like crows and throws things when he loses he lies about being on it he had mastered sneaking away when I'm busy and hiding when trying to find him. I need help before i just take it away altogether my older son had no problems plays for a hoe and listens when asked.

Why not have the 12 year old keep it hidden in his room and if the 6 year old still gets it... remove all privileges from him (grounding) for 24 hours? I don't have experience having an adhd child, but I have friends that do and firm, consistent boundaries and strict consequences for breaking those boundaries has been critical to them.

Hi there! I feel your pain! I have four boys, 13,12,12,9 and they LOVE xbox. If you have some time you need to utilize the xbox parental controls. In order to do so you need to know all the usernames and logins for all the xbox accounts. There may be only one but I am assuming the 12 year old has an account as well because they can make up their own avatars and save them on their account. Once you have that information go onto xbox online, log in under the account and utilize the parental controls. I believe that you can even only allow the xbox to be used during certain hours under the account settings!

I hope this helps!!

Thank you for that is there a way to put some kind of password so the younger one can't even access it?
