ADHD in boys

My son is 10 and has been diagnosed with ADHD since he was in Kindergarten. He takes Strattera and it has been working fine the last couple of years. Granted he has his moments. Well in the last 2 months he has begun to spiral out of control, swearing at school, hitting, not listening to his teachers, and being very disrespectful. My husband and I don't know what happened and we don't know what to do anymore. We are getting calls from his school daily. They have tried a few things but nothing seems to be working. Is this something stemming from the ADHD?? He has visited with the school counselor multiple times and she said nothing seems to have set it off. We are at a loss as to what to do. He doesn't act that way at home or on his sports teams, or at least no where near the degree he has been at school. Any suggestions or help would be much appreciated.

Yes! Get him off everyone I know that takes it goes from being sane and calm to snapping or becoming enraged I have adult adhd and I stopped taking my medication because I would snap at the smallest things and sometimes at my son :( so I chose between what was more important people around me my son or completing education... I dropped out and now I'm focusing on a simpler degree
