My twin 9 yr old boys have been taking meds to control their ADHD symptoms since age 5. Some meds were successful in the beginning but as they got older and the dosing increased, it hasn't been successful. Dealt with mood swings, ticks, loss of appetite, etc. We have tried Adderall, vyvanse, ridilin, tennex, Metadate,.......and many more. Nothing worked and many side effects. Now they are on Concerta & Intuniv. It's helping them but still extremely compulsive and can't focus in school. We are going to start Strattera tomorrow in conjunction with their current meds (concerta & Intuniv). I'm so nervous of increasing meds and side effects. I'm not too familiar with Strattera. Would appreciate any feedback from experienced moms on this subject......thanks!!
