I think it's important to stress that her bio parents were brave to give her up for adoption and give her the opportunity at a better life than they could provide. Also, she should know how much she was wanted by you. Reassure her that you're not telling her because your feelings have changed, but that you respect her right to know the truth and you think she's old enough to know.
The reason I asked why you chose to tell her NOW was not to say you shouldn't, but to know if the bio parents were trying to make contact or anything like that; that might really turn this into a more complicated situation.

You need to tell her NOW!!!!! I cannot say how IMPORTANT it is to do it NOW!!! This really should have been done from the moment she entered your home. The longer you wait the worse it will be for both you and her. I work in adoption....TODAY you need to tell her!
