My son is 24 with Asperger's. He has never had a job and has not finished college. He did really well when he went to class and has done very well studying languages. I am trying to get him to get a plan together, but he seems unaware of time passing. Meanwhile, I am planning on retiring in a couple of years. I am worried about what is going to happen to him when I get older or am gone. He has an older brother with major health problems, including epilepsy, but who has managed to have a job and family. His father has been out of the picture for the most part for years and was no help when he was.
Has anyone in similar situations found any help out there?
