Should I trust my 9-year-old son, Toby alone with his tablet in his room? He has moviestarplanet and that's it i think. I'm not very good with these devices but he can access other stuff, can't he? I need advice on this one I think. Should I?

Maybe you need to go and take some classes to learn about the devices. Not being good with them is not a good excuse.
There are apps that can be downloaded onto the devices that are parental controls and will limit what he can access. It's also advisable to not allow technology in the bedrooms. They should only be able to be on it in the family areas so they can be monitored. Also make sure they aren't in their room overnight.

"and that's it, i think"~~YOU THINK??? That says it all.

Your child is not old enough to have unsupervised screen time, and you would do well to get some tech assistance so that you understand these devices. Otherwise, your kids are going to have a heyday with you!

Hang in there, get your knowledge base up, and do not allow your 9 YO unsupervised screen time at this point. You'll do fine, but you really need to get up to speed with technology.
