I have a question?! Recently had the IUD removed (March 15, 2012) of only two months being (on the IUD Mirena).. I also had sex a day before removal & after..

IUD Removal

March 15th 2012

March 16th - 17th

Brownish Spotting.... (On & Off)

March 18th - 19th

NOTHING!!

March 20th

Brownish spotting, AGAIN!!-

March 21st

Seems like PERIOD!!

March 22nd

A tad bit of brown spotting...

March 23rd

6:47AM Bleeeding...

Three days after removal I had brownish spotting... Two days later nothing... The following week I had a one day seems like period... Then the following day NOTHING... & just the other day spotting AGAIN... I'm really confused if this is the outcome of taking the IUD out or if I can maybe be pregnant?.. But I highly doubt it... May I add that I've been having pelvic cramps, tender nipples & been eating more then the usual?... WEIRD!!!!!!

I had mine removed October 1st...I had had my period September 24th.... I spotted from October 4 to 6....then nothing....and this week (October 15th to 17th) I felt really sick!!! and tons of headaches....no desire for food...super tired but cant sleep.....I am expecting my period on October 22 (Monday).....so today I buy a test...and plan on using it tomorrow...BUT I started bleeding when I got home from buying the test.......not sure if its implantation bleeding or my period being all messed!!!

When I had it removed, I actually skipped a period the first month. Some IUDs release hormones and your body goes through some funny changes as you adjust to not receiving those hormones. The 2nd month after removal I got my period and could track ovulation and blamo! I was pregnant (not sure if that's that reason for your removal).
