My 5month had a reaction to a banana, apple, peach puree. I know shes fine with banana as shes had it before. Does anyone know if apple or peaches are bad for babies.?

You should be introducing food individually so you can tell which food has the allergic reaction. You need to do one individual food for 4 days straight before introducing another to make sure there is no allergic reaction. Right now you will need to individually introduce the apples for 4 days and the peaches for 4 days to see if either of those triggered the allergy.

Since you have already started, my advice is to stick to single ingredient foods and start with veggies rather than fruit. Babies develop a preference for those sweet foods and then can be resistant to trying other flavors. It is easy and cheap to make your own as well.

But you fed her a mixed puree w/ three items in it... two of which she hadn't had before and now she has had a reaction and you have no idea what caused it or what potential damage could occur.

Yes.. some doctors do recommend solids as young as 4 months and many babies are fine... but some are not. The more common recommendation is 6 months because research has shown that younger than that CAN cause life long issues. If formula is not filling the baby you feed them more often.

Granted, you have already started feeding her and it's clear you don't want to hear advice to the contrary... so just stop feeding her food w/ more than one ingredient in it unless every ingredient is something she had already eaten w/ success.

Yea i do wait a couple of days inbetween.
It is perfectly fine to feed to her solids as i have discussed it with a doctor as she was a hungry baby and formular was not filling enough.
But thankyou

At 5 months old she should be only having breast milk or infant approved formula. Any food under 6 months has the potential to cause life long digestive issues....

Apples and peaches in and of themselves are not bad for babies (again... at/after 6 months old), but if your particular child is allergic to a particular food... it can be very bad for them.

Once your child is old enough to start eating foods you need to start w/ single ingredient items and wait 4-5 days between the introduction of each new food to see how she reacts.
