What is the age that they start doing skin testing on? I have a 3 almost 4 year old that has to go to the allergist but not sure if she is old enough.. if shes not old enough what should i expect during the visit? Please help me.

You may need to do your research on natural products. There are companies out there and I have found they are better than anything store bought.
I changed my whole home over 11 years ago and myself or my 2nd child haven't had a breakout since.

I was involved in a study at the children's hospital with my 2nd son and it was to do with allergies. They actually did the allergy tests on him at 6 months but I don't think that's normal.
Why not ask your doctor or ring the office of an allergist and ask them? If you ring around you may find one suitable.

Have you ruled out eczema or dermatitis first?
Have you also tried different washing detergents and cleaning products? Try to go as natural as possible.
I was born with dermatitis and am also allergic to all grasses and soap. I can use a shower gel but whatever is in a bar of soap sets me off.

Thanks Michelle that helps i know this being my only child and having all this done is stressful and nerve wrecking since im not used to it.. i just hope they figure out about it. ive tried everything the last almost 4 years and it just hasnt got any better... its to the point now last 2 mornings she woke up with blood all over her shirt and crying from it hurting and the look in her eyes just make it harder on me to just put lotion or something on it... im not sure what to do anymore.. Is she at the right age where they do the skin testing?
