alone in labor and delivery

Has anyone ever delivered alone?
I am expecting my 4th child and my husband works out of town and my closest relative is 6 hours away. I'm getting really depressed that no need will be there when I have the baby. My mom and sister aren't coming until almost my due date but for some reason I think this baby will come sooner. I need some advise I'm just so worried and feeling very alone.

I have been there, none of my family was around, i was a single mom with a few friends, the one friend that promised me she would be there decided to get drunk instead. I had to drive myself to the hospital and called everyone i knew, one person did come but her husband called yelling at her to get home so she couldn't stay.
I was scared and nervous, i felt that no one really cared, I ended up delivering with just me and the doctor and 2 nurses, but in the end it was a lot easier, it was the easist delivery i had out of my 4. It is scary but in the end the delivery is about you and the baby, plus you get to enjoy that first moment with just you and the baby which was a better feeling for me than having a bunch of people in the room. Just relax and try to enjoy the experiance despite the situation, because when it comes down to it the baby is going to come on its schedule and no one elses, whether there is someone there or not, and technically you wont be a lone no matter what because you will have doctors and nurses, i know it isn't family, but at least it is somebody. Plus you said your mom and sister are going to be coming around the due date, so most likely they will be there. Just breathe and know no matter what happens it is meant to happen that way. If no one close is there take that first moment and enjoy it with just you and your beautiful little miracle. It will be okay, just breathe and relax.
