My son is four years old and is struggling when it comes to alphabet and number recognition. I've tried flash cards, Work sheets, Songs and games but nothing seems to stick. His teachers are spending one on one time with him and they say he needs the help too. What do I do now?

My niece was the same way. She could not recognize the difference between numbers and letters she did not get the concept of this is a number and this is a letter. So we just sat down with her every day with a chalkboard and just went over it and and over it. She did not understand that you put letters together to make a word. It took about a month and a half before she caught on, but it was just consistency every day over and over. Worksheets and flashcards did not help her at all it was the chalkboard hopefully this will help.
