Hi Moms,
I just want to share the feeding schedule for my 13month old princess, then you advise me whether am right or wrong
At 6:30,she wakes up and takes a cup of porridge.
At 9:30,she takes another cup of porridge but smaller size.
Then she takes a bath and sleeps till 3:30pm.
She then takes her lunch consisting of irish potato, ovacado, eggyolk and fish or liver.with some warm water.
Then she plays till 5:00,then takes porridge again.
At around 8:00,she takes her supper consisting of irish potato, ovacado and fish.
Then around 9:00,she takes yoghurt.
And finally water before she goes to bed.

But usually she wakes up at aroud 2 or 3 am and she starts acting like she is disturbed by something am not very sure of.sometimes I feed her with yoghurt but still keeps awake up to 5:00.Could I be making a mistake somewhere?

That's an awfully big sleep during the day for a child of her age. It's around 6 hours, far too long.
Most babies her age will have 2 naps a day for 1-2 hours each. Usually around 10 am and then around 2pm (not at exactly those times).
I mentioned the water as you didn't say anything about bottles or breastfeeding in your OP so wasn't sure when she was getting her fluids.
In regards to the sleeping, it will be tough for a few nights but you need to be consistent and put her in her own bed. When she wakes you go in and comfort her without picking her up. Pat her back and soothe her and then go out of the room. It will take a few nights for her to learn how to self settle but it's easier to do it now than at age 5 or more.

I have no idea about that type of hair. What ethnic background are you?
I'm Caucasian and all my kids have dead straight blonde hair. Very boring, haha.

Then maintainance of her hair is also becoming a bit hard.
When I had just given birth to her,she really had a very good hair type that was admired by all those who first saw her in her early months...
Unfortunately, its becoming abit hard for me to maintain,at first it was good looking and black but now its slowly turning to a funny colour...brownish....
I should have plaited it long time ago,but I feel she is still too young,,then combing is also a problem,,,she really hates it.The father keeps telling me to cut it off but I feel my baby is still too young to have a bold head,,,and I don't think she will look any better without hair since she is a baby and a girl.
What do you have to say about this?
Are there some nice oils specifically for babies that I should buy or the problem is about the way I feed her?

Michelle thanks a lot my dear,
Am so grateful for every single word in your responses to my querries.
Now am going to try as much as possible,to ensure that I change her time for naps.
Now since am a working mother,i do breastfeed her in the morning before I leave for work, but I didn't mention it in her daily menu because sometimes, there is no breastmilk....Then I also breastfeed her late in the evening after work but still very little breastmilk...As for bottles, she rearly takes plain milk, when I try giving her a bottle she just pushes it away.

Am going to start separating her from our bed TODAY.Will just follow your advise.

Then I must say I made a mistake of sleeping with her right from day 1..i and my husband had to separate beds because she needed more of my attention.
But now she is 13 months,i want her to start sleeping alone in her own crib but am struggling,i don't know how to start it.Coz she usually keeps waking up in the middle of the night and looks for the breast ,when I try to push away, thinking that may be she can just sleep again, she doesn't,till when I put her on my breast,,,,thats when she goes back to sleep.
What should I do to separate her without crying?

Michelle,thanks a lot.
Now she ususally sleeps from 9 or 9:30 am till 3 r 3:30pm.
Yes I give her baby porridge either babysoya millet or baby rice porridge, but based on your advise,am going to reduce on the numbr of times she takes porridge and I will replace it with vegetables of fruits.

How about including more water on her menu?,since you have said she needs to drink a lot during day..will it help?

How long does she sleep during the day. You said she wakes up at 3:30 but not when you put her down.
Are you giving her baby porridge? She really doesn't need that much of it if you are. You would be better off offering her toast in the mornings followed by some fruit or vegetables.
She should also be drinking more during the day, babies can dehydrate easily even on cool days.
