I stumbled across this site by searching a feeling of a baby kicking, although I'm not pregnant - luckily, I'm not the only one!! My son is now a year old and for about 6 months now, I've felt little kicks - EXACTLY like I felt when he was kicking!! I thought I was crazy! Like maybe I want another baby so bad that I'm imagining one kicking! I'm so glad to know that this happens to other women, but what could it be caused from?

Thank god I'm not the only one , apparently there are alot of us that have felt the same , I know I have , it honestly feels like a baby moving or a light tap / kick motion and It really freaks me out alot , I honesty think it's the muscles contracting tightening and going back , that or gas , because surprisingly tht can cause the same feeling , but for some piece of mind i'd go make an appointment with your doctor , and don't feel embarrassed about talking with him/ her about it because that what they are there for and your probably not the first person to ask the same question they have most of the answers and will ultimately put your mind at ease rather then have you wondering ..

My youngest child is 8 yrs old and I still feel like someone is kicking in my belly. I know I'm not prego because I got fixed. It's kind of cute and it's exciting to feel. The first time i got so excited because i too wanted another baby and ran to the doctor but he confirmed ms you are not prego. one time I even fooled my coworker I said hey feel my stomach my baby kicking and he did he was like that it so amazing then I told him silly I'm not prego, I was just playing. He was like it felt so real you sure. ughhh I want another baby.

Well, normally the baby would be pretty far along when you start having good visable kicks. If its been happening for 6 mos, then I would say birth would be long overdue.

Thinking on it, I do believe I've had it happen to me after my 1st, I don't pay as much attention to that kind of stuff anymore.

I freaked out a lot, with all the changes that were happening to my body after I had my first baby. It can be pretty scary learning how differently your body works.

I remember when DD1 was about 6 mo I started having somewhat strong cramps like Braxton Hicks, didn't know what in the world was going on.

I am Not a health professional, but, Me personally, I would wait and see, there's going to be a lot of adjustment & your body will Never be the same as it was Pre-pregnancy. Sometimes, I think about how my body has changed after having to children and wonder to myself... What the heck was I thinking!? Then, I think about my 2 beautiful little girls & I know, it will always be worth it.

For me... I know I'm pregnant, when I start wondering whether or not I'm going insane. LOL (hormones) I really go off the charts. This last time around, I told DH I thought I was pg, w/i a week of it happening.

I don't have any medical and I'm only 20 so I can't really afford medical, it's just weird because every time I feel it I see the kicks through the belly as if it was a real kick

If your really concerned about it, never be afraid or feel silly for going to a doctor about it.

I was always told the only silly question, is the one you don't ask.

Do u think it's possible to have the kick pop ups out of your belly n not be pregnant or do u just think its my mind being scared and seeing things, really need advice

Definately not an isolated event.

You have to remember, all your internal organs got moved around during pg. Not only that, but even moms (like myself), who have always tried to be aware of what's going on w/ their body, are super sensitive to internal sensations after having a baby in there. I will say its not quite as disconcerting the second time around, as you expect it might happen again. DD2 is 20 mo and I still feel 'kicks' too. Another one of those things nobody tells you, when your getting ready for or just had baby #1.
