Am I feeling my baby move at 12 weeks? Can anyone else describe it?

This is my first pregnancy, I am around 12 weeks. When I lay on my back I feel flutters low in my stomach right above my pelvic bone, and small popping. Mainly late at night and only when I lay flat. Could this be my baby moving?

i know most women feel their baby move farther along, and i think i will be able to distinguish the different movements as i am closer to my third trimester. its just the feeling i am getting is something i've never felt inside me before. at first i thought it was a possibility to be gas but i don't think so now that it's such a different feeling going on for a week now. it's extremely faint though, not like WOW something just moved! lol it's more of a tiny little bubble popping and moving. i got this really emotional feeling after i felt it like wow i think that was the baby! hopefully when i go in for my ultrasound tuesday they will be able to tell me when the baby is moving and if i am in fact feeling it or not.

i think i was 19 weeks the first time i felt him move. honestly the only way i can describe it is a flutter like butterflies, kind of a tickle from the inside. i know that sounds weird but you will understand what i mean when you get further along. its a great feeling that cant compare to anything else in the world in my opinion. that was what really made me stop and think wow there actually is life growing inside me! what you are describing sounds like it. and at night the baby will move more they like to sleep while your moving around and move around while you sleep it gets annoying towards the end though lol
